I just received some awful news. On Dec. 21, my friend Sara, one of the most kind-hearted, vibrant, funny, cute, and all-around-pleasant people I've ever known passed away, a victim of the leukemia that she'd been fighting. She was only 21. I knew Sara for only a short time, but in that time, I began to truly look forward to her next e-mail, and she spoke so clearly, fondly, and wonderfully of her friends that I feel I know them, even though I've never spoken to them. We had some truly funny and touching conversations. We talked about everything from how depressing her condition could occasionally get her, to how she loved WWF and loathed WCW. She jokingly called WWF her "white trash vice". She loved Rocky Horror Picture Show, and while we used to argue about it because I couldn’t get into it, I intend to watch it in the next week... just as a moronic attempt at saying goodbye to her. I pray to God for some sort of peace for her friends and family, who will have to spend Christmas (and beyond) without this special, special girl. I love ya, Sarabear. May you fly with the angels, and I know that one day, we'll finally meet face to face in God's kingdom.
