My sweetie said something to me the other day that I really liked. We were talking about how fast 2009 "flew" by and he said, "the years just go by faster and faster, until we achieve take-off speed."
I was remembering this morning the time when Carl and I went to see you, and you were scandalized that I didn't know what Christina Aguilera looked like. You were tossing magazines at me from across the room (because we couldn't get too close) and insisting that she "looks like a dog." Haha. Then we talked about putting a bag over Britney's head and duct-taping her mouth... yeah. I miss you.
I'm going to see Carl tonight. I wish we could be seeing you. Randy and I were talking yesterday about the possibility of maintaining our "essence" after we die - will we keep our sense of humor? Will we still be able to love? I feel to my core that the answer to this is yes. I really believe that you still exist in some way, and that you still love us just as much as we love you.
