Emily Dickinson

XXVIII
She went as quiet as the dew
>From a familiar flower.
Not like the dew did she return
At the accustomed hour!

She dropt as softly as a star
>From out of my summer's eve;
Less skillful than Leverrier
It's sorer to believe!

LXXXV
They say that "time assuages",--
Time never did assuage;
An actual suffering strengthens,
As sinews do with age.
Time is a test of trouble,
But not a remedy.
If such it prove, it prove too
There was no malady.

Sara, I can't stand the thought of eight years having gone by without you. So Emily Dickinson did it for me.
Love Always.
