I'm really sorry to hear about Spice. Sara was constantly talking about how great her doggie was and I know how much you all loved him.
Today a friend of mine sent me an e-mail with a link in it that I thought you might (or might not) find interesting:
"I was driving home today and saw an old man walking the highway. He wore a large backpack, stuffed with tent poles, sleeping bag, and other vitals. Attached to the pack was an enormous white sign, designed to hover just over the man's head. In bold red
capitals, the sign suggested/commanded/pleaded: "LOVE LIFE."
I decided to turn my car around.
The man's name was Steve Fugate. I met him just a few miles outside of Coshocton (Ohio). But his walk began months ago somewhere in Georgia. Over the last seven years, he has crossed the country in different ways, walking over 17,000 miles. He gave me his card, complete with web addres (www.trailtherapy.com), and told me why he does what he does: it's a tragic story."
