Two years ago today, beautiful and talented Sara left this world after suffering for 1 ½ years with leukemia. She made the world brighter and more vibrant by being here and left behind a mom and dad and brother who will miss her every day until they join her. She was only 21 years old and yet she made a mark on all that knew her.
Sweet Sara - who not only had the talent to get up on a stage and perform, but also the guts to do it. Sara, who wore magenta and blue wigs. Sara, who loved Italy and all it’s charms. Sara, who’s heart held a soft spot for animals and so she did all she could to help them and now her family carries on with her work for the animals.
Now she is free of the pain and sorrow of this world and lives on eternally. And while Sara is now without pain, her absence here causes all who love her to struggle on with a piece of their heart broken and their lives that much less brighter and vibrant without her presence.
Wishing you and your family some measure of peace today, Sue. I’m so sorry that you’re on this path - but I’m grateful for your company and friendship as I stumble on.
