Sara Hunt touched many people's lives in profound ways. Having
contracted leukemia, she only lived to be twenty-one years old. Sara
is an inspiration to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.
Sara loved dogs. One of her fondest dreams was to have lots of land and take care of as many dogs as she could.

SARA HUNT AWARD
Sara Hunt was a wonderful student and gifted actress here at Bellevue
High School whose spirit of warmth and community touched everyone she
met. She appeared in the first ever Black Box Show as well as
main stage shows and Shakespeare productions. She gave as much behind
the scenes promoting ensemble as she did on stage dazzling audiences.
To quote Doug Sovde one of her teachers here at BHS, "Sara was
the brightest light in the room" We will miss her presence
but celebrate her spirit.
The SARA HUNT AWARD will be given out every
year under Sara's name. It is for ensemble and is to reflect
Sara's spirit. This is a new award to honor Sara, courtesy of
David Kline, Director of Drama Department at Bellevue High School.
